The Lagoon 470 is a truly spacious and comfortable sailing catamaran. This design was introduced in 1998 continued in production until 2005 proving to be very popular with over 50 boats built for both private and charter usage. With its immense living space and attention to detail owners and guests can be assured of a superb experience onboard.

 

"Dreamland" has been maintained by her current owner and benefits from many upgrades and improvements including two new Yanmar 38HP diesel engines fitted in 2011. She has been used by her owner for personal use and has not been extensively chartered. Dreamland is available to view in Panama.

Walkthrough:

 

The scooped transoms allow ease of boarding onto "Dreamland" from a dinghy, with steps leading you to the expansive cockpit area. With U-shaped seating for at least 10 people and a large adjustable table for alfresco dining, this out door area offers guests an unsurpassed area for outdoor relaxation and entertainment.

Stepping through the door and into the light and airy interior you will find the raised galley to port which is Port Side Walkthroughdesigned and fitted with everything required for the gourmet chef to prepare full meals for all the guests. The salon, alongside the galley to starboard has an elliptical table and seating for eight to ten comfortably.

Descending steps from the salon and galley areas into the port and starboard hulls each hull has two staterooms (fwd. & aft) with a separate head and shower for each cabin. All the cabins offer the guests a sense of spaciousness and ample storage for all personal items. That, together with the overhead and personal lighting gives a relaxing atmosphere after a long day's enjoyment onboard.

The spacious decks allow for ease of movement when under sail, motoring or on the dock or mooring. The trampolines forward are ideal for sunning oneself or just catching the breeze when underway.

The aft staterooms on this Lagoon have a Queen berth with a custom mattress and stowage beneath. Ambient lighting is provided by personal reading and overhead lights. Salon:

The luxurious salon located adjacent to the galley is beautifully finished throughout in high gloss teak cabinetry.  The oval shaped teak table has seating for up to ten people together with the ambient lighting ensure comfort when dining inside. The cockpit area on "Dreamland", shaded by the large fiberglass hard top is the ideal place for relaxation and entertaining. This expansive seating can accommodate the largest of parties. The helm station located in the forward port area of the cockpit ensures the captain good visibility when navigating and ease of communication with the crew around him.
